About the Artwork:

Robert Rauschenberg once commented: "A pair of socks is no less suitable to make a painting with than are wood, nails, turpentine, oil and fabric." Cenedella would add to this statement that world events, the stock market, sports, sex, politics, even the Gulf War are suitable for the artist to use in his or her art.
